Curvegrid Joins ETHGlobal Tokyo 2026 as a Hackathon Sponsor

Curvegrid is excited to join as an official hackathon sponsor for ETHGlobal Tokyo 2026, taking place from September 25 - 27.
As part of the event, Curvegrid will sponsor $3,000 in prizes for hackers building across real-world asset (RWA) tokenization, digital asset management, and AI agents.
The Curvegrid team will also host a developer workshop on the opening day of the hackathon, while Co-founder Jeff Wentworth will take the stage at Pragma Tokyo 2026 on September 26.
$3,000 in Prizes for ETHGlobal Tokyo Hackers
Hackers will be able to compete across three Curvegrid prize tracks:
🏦 Best RWA Tokenization Project - $1,000
Turn real-world assets into programmable, composable digital primitives.
Tokenized RWAs are creating new ways to bring financial and commercial assets on-chain, from treasuries and money markets to invoices, real estate, and supply-chain assets.
For this track, we’re challenging hackers to explore what’s possible when real-world value becomes programmable.
Projects could include on-chain treasuries, invoice financing, fractional real estate, supply-chain assets, stablecoins, or entirely new approaches to tokenization.
📊 Best Digital Asset Dashboard - $1,000
As individuals and organizations manage more of their financial activity on-chain, they need better ways to understand their holdings and decide what actions to take.
Build a dashboard that turns blockchain data into useful financial and operational insights.
Projects could explore digital asset treasury management, stablecoin operations, RWA analytics, DeFi activity, cross-chain portfolios, governance, risk monitoring, or other ways to make digital assets easier to manage.
🤖 Best AI Agent Project - $1,000
What happens when AI agents can understand blockchain activity and take action on-chain?
We’re looking for hackers to leverage AI to build intelligent applications that can understand blockchain data, interact with smart contracts, and help automate digital asset workflows.
Projects could include AI treasury agents, stablecoin payment agents, portfolio intelligence, on-chain monitoring, policy-aware transactions, or agent-to-agent payments.
Building Digital Asset Applications with AI
Mark your calendars on Friday, September 25 at 4:00pm JST, as the Curvegrid team is hosting a workshop demonstrating tokenization in the world of AI.
This workshop will walk developers through the creation and use of a tokenized asset with supporting on-chain infrastructure.
With stablecoins increasingly being explored for payments, treasury operations, remittances, and other financial use cases, the session gives hackers a practical starting point for experimenting with programmable money and building their own stablecoin-powered applications.
Our team will also be on-site throughout the weekend and available on Discord to support hackers and answer technical questions.
Jeff Wentworth to Speak at Pragma Tokyo 2026
Alongside the hackathon, Curvegrid Co-founder Jeff Wentworth will speak at Pragma Tokyo 2026 on September 26.
Jeff’s session will explore the evolving digital asset landscape and why infrastructure will become increasingly important as digital assets move toward broader real-world adoption.
Stablecoins, tokenized real-world assets, and other forms of digital money are creating new possibilities for how value can be held, transferred, and managed – but making these assets practical for businesses requires more than putting assets on-chain. Organizations also need infrastructure to securely manage transactions, connect blockchain networks with existing systems, implement operational controls, and coordinate financial workflows.
These are some of the challenges Curvegrid has been working to solve with a new approach to enterprise digital asset and stablecoin management coming soon.
See You at ETHGlobal Tokyo!
ETHGlobal Tokyo brings together developers, founders, and teams from Japan and around the world to experiment with emerging technologies and build new applications across the Ethereum ecosystem.
To prepare for the hackathon and to familiarize yourself with our software, check out our developer resources guide here.
We’re excited to support builders exploring what’s next for RWAs, stablecoins, digital asset management, and AI, and to see the new ideas that emerge when developers have better infrastructure to build on.
Be sure to stop by our booth to meet the team, and join our workshop on September 25 at 4:00pm JST, build with us throughout the hackathon, and catch us at Pragma Tokyo on September 26 (use the code CURVEGRIDZC5JP at the checkout for 50% your general pass).
We look forward to seeing you there!
