The Building Blocks Hackathon at Consensus convenes many of the world's top blockchain developers vying to build the next killer smart contract app. Curvegrid co-founders William and Jeff participated as hackers and won the Consensys Academy Award.

Women Who Code (WWC) is an international, non-profit organization promoting women in software engineering, and members range from industry veterans to those writing their very first "Hello World". Curvegrid team member Ann developed a blockchain stamp rally and presented a demo at WWC Connect Asia in Singapore.

Deconomy 2019 gathers renowned cryptographers, entrepreneurs, developers, academics, and policymakers together to discuss the future of the distributed economy empowered by peer-to-peer technologies, covering many topics from philosophy, society, technology, to economy, with participants sharing new ideas and possibilities with the audience. One of Curvegrid's engineers participated as an attendee.

Tokyo FinTech Meetup is a community initiative launched by Norbert Gehrke, committed to educating 3,500+ members on new business models and technologies while giving them an opportunity to advance their professional networks. Curvegrid team members are regular attendees and this was the fifth meetup, where co-founders William and Jeff join a panel to share their experience in software engineering and the financial services industry.

Tokyo Startup Pitch Night is hosted by Tokyo startup engineers, giving entrepreneurs an opportunity to present their daily work and projects in front of an audience with a wide variety of background. In this segment, co-founder William presented what he is building at Curvegrid.
